The Locked Classroom
Early one morning before school started at Oakwood Elementary, Simone realized she had left her homework folder inside her locked classroom. Her teacher hadn't arrived yet, and the bell was about to ring.
Simone felt panicked as she checked the door handle again, hoping it would somehow open. She didn't want to be marked late for missing homework.
The school secretary noticed Simone waiting outside and used her master key to open the door just in time. Simone grabbed her folder, thanked the secretary, and made it to her seat right as the bell rang.
