1 First Person vs. Third Person
👁️ Stories can be told from different points of view. Learn the difference!

First Person (I, me, my): The character tells their own story. "I went to the park."

Third Person (he, she, they): A narrator tells the story about someone else. "She went to the park."

2 Same Story, Different Views
📖 Read the same event told from two different points of view.
Version A (First Person):
I paced backstage, going over my lines one more time. My costume itched, and my palms were sweaty. When the curtain finally opened, all my nerves disappeared the moment I stepped into the light.
Version B (Third Person):

4 Change the Point of View
✍️ Rewrite this third-person passage in FIRST person (use "I" and "my").
Third Person: Zara noticed a stray cat shivering near the bus stop on a cold morning. She wrapped her scarf gently around it and asked the crossing guard for help.
