1 Types of Endings

🏁 Stories can end in different ways. Read each type!

😊 Happy Ending: The problem is solved and everyone is happy.

😮 Surprise Ending: Something unexpected happens at the end!

💭 Lesson Learned: The character learns an important lesson.

🔄 Full Circle: The end connects back to the beginning.

What type of ending does each story have?

2 Write Different Endings

📖 Read the story beginning and middle. Then write THREE different endings!

Story: Elena found an old journal in her grandmother's attic. She showed it to her brother Theo. They noticed a page describing a hidden spot near the barn, so they searched and found a small wooden box tucked behind loose bricks…

3 Fix the Weak Ending

💪 This story has a boring ending. Rewrite it to make it strong!

Malik was nervous about the art contest. He almost erased his whole drawing. When the judges finally reached his table, his hands were sweaty, but his friend Ivy gave him an encouraging smile. "It looks great," she whispered. Then he walked away. The end.
