1 Read a How-To
๐Ÿ“– How-to writing teaches someone how to do something step by step. Read this example.
How to Plant a Seed

Materials: a pot, soil, a seed, water, and sunlight

Step 1: Fill a small pot with soil, leaving about one inch at the top.
Step 2: Make a small hole in the soil with your finger, about half an inch deep.
Step 3: Drop the seed into the hole and gently cover it with soil.
Step 4: Water the soil until it is damp but not soaking wet.
Step 5: Place the pot near a sunny window and water it every other day.

In about one to two weeks, you should see a tiny green sprout poking through the soil!
