2 Strong Beginnings

🎬 A strong beginning "hooks" the reader! Read each type of beginning and write your own.

Action: Start with something exciting happening.

Example: "The ground shook and books flew off the shelf!"

Dialogue: Start with a character speaking.

Example: "'Watch out!' Mom screamed from the kitchen."

Question: Start by asking the reader a question.

Example: "Have you ever found something mysterious in your backyard?"
