1 What is Persuasive Writing?

📢 Persuasive writing tries to convince someone to agree with your opinion. Read this example.

I think our school should have a longer recess. First, kids need more time to run around and play. Exercise keeps our bodies healthy and our minds sharp. Second, students pay better attention in class after they have had time to play. Finally, recess helps kids make friends and learn to work together. For all of these reasons, I believe recess should be 30 minutes instead of 15.
