B: The playground equipment was rusting because it had been left uncovered during winter storms. The parent volunteers solved this by building a small shelter over the swings and slide. The equipment has stayed in much better condition ever since.

C: Deserts and rainforests are both biomes, but they are almost opposites. Deserts receive very little rainfall and often have plants that store water, while rainforests get heavy rain and are filled with dense, layered greenery. Both are home to unique animals, but rainforest animals usually depend on constant moisture that desert animals don't need.
