1 Read Two Short Texts
Read both texts carefully. Then compare how the two subjects are alike and different.
🐢 Turtles
Turtles move slowly and carry hard shells on their backs. Many turtles live near ponds or marshes, while some live in the ocean. They can pull their heads and legs inside their shells for protection.
🐸 Frogs
Frogs can jump far and often live near water. They have smooth skin instead of shells. Frogs start life as tadpoles and change as they grow, which is called metamorphosis.
